Counselling is a valuable tool for identifying, exploring and resolving our outstanding mental health issues that trigger irrational thoughts, feelings and behaviours, causing symptoms of anxiety and depression.
Counselling can give you an understanding of the how, why, what, where and when of your life in your past and in the present.
As well as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), I implement a number of integrative psychological and therapeutic counselling models as required in tackling mental health issues including:
• Person Centred
• Transactional Analysis
A strong therapeutic & empathic relationship of collaboration and trust between counsellor and client is essential for securing a successful outcome and is as important as the therapy itself.
A safe space is created by the Counsellor for supporting and fostering clients on their journey of self-discovery, towards finding solutions including acceptance and closure on past and current events.
